We’re into February – marking 4 years since James&Co took its first steps. The starting steps for a business that advocated for and sold crueltyfree fashion items and promoted initiatives to raise awareness of mental health issues for young people.
Although it wasn’t until 6 months later in August 2012 that James&Co began trading, our amazing journey started from those first tenative steps into the online world of e-commerce. Branding, designing – website/jackets/accessories, sourcing ethical manufacturers, running focus groups, warehousing and distribution, social media reach, digital marketing.
From the 1 website we started with, James&Co now sells through a number of major international platforms. From starting in Australia, we now sell globally. We also wholesale and have a rapidly growing network of online retailers in the US who sell James&Co on a dropshipping basis. Does that qualify us as an Online Emporium? We think so.
Our community of followers through social media, newsletter and this blog is continuing to expand, with shared views on ethical fashion and ethical lifestyles being of particular interest to the community.
And James&Co now has the benefit of the wisdom of an Advisory Board. Thank you Di, Di and Seb!
Check out some of the James&Co Emporium outlets here. As a little celebration for our 4 year marker, each of these platforms has a different James&Co jacket on special for 70% off. Go shopping and share with your friends. Each click raises our profile in searches and furthers our growth!
